Ben Fox - waste of space?

Foxy does jack.

He says and does very little in the States.

If in doubt ask yourself; how many propositions has he brought forward. What has he done to improve the landscape of St. Helier no 2?

If still not convinced click on the link and check out his photo.

My ears pricked up when I realised he was not only an assistant minister of Education Sport and Culture but even more so when it came to my attention he is up for election.

As you have rigtly said, he has done very little for the electorate. This could possibly include doing nothing when he could or should have been doing everything to either make us all aware of the goings on in that department or "blow the whistle".

I shall have to gather some "facts" on Deputy (John) Ben (GST28) Fox and publish a Blog on him. Anybody who might have some "facts" on him they think might be relevant to a Blog please either PM or E-mail me? voiceforchildren@gmail.com

Thanks.

He's assistant minister with special responsibility for, hold on I can barey say this without hosing myself, Sport!

That's right. Foxy is the king of sport.

Why dont you ask him a really hard one like ...how many gold medals did Jersey get at the last Commonwealth Games?

Foxy deserves to be asked some very serious questions and being an ex-policeman it will be interesting to hear what he thinks about the way Lenny Harper has been treated.

From the inner pentangles of my spartan mind I do seem to recall the e-coli warrior became a defuct Trojan Horse.

Was last seen asking Stuart Syvret to raise the clamour de haro before some smart arse pointed out it was only relevant to property law.

Ben Fox retired from the Police Force with a huge pension. Then he became a States member with a £45.000 salary. He must be on approx £100.000 !
He is competing with Guy de Faye in body size, ( and winning !). He is probably a nice bloke but being nice is perhaps good enough in " money coming of our ears" times but not now. We need people who are on the ball !

Interesting.. I was told that the Clameur de Haro Was only about property, but an Advocate told me that this could be applied to chattels as well as realty, I would love to know as I know it by heart and am busting a gut to use it somewhere!!!!

I met him years ago when he was appointed home security liaison officer for the cops, he came round to look at the work premises. Yes a nice guy but couldn't help brag on how he had landed a good job since he was only a grocer. Wonder if he's changed??...............................

Ben Fox is an utter and complete waste of space.

Your archetypal 'dead-wood' lobby-fodder.

He - like his fellow candidate and fellow-traveler in St. Helier No. 3/4 Jacky Huet, epitomise all that is dysfunctional in Jersey politics; the false public image, the total lack of Independence - the fact they always simple do what they're told by the oligarchy.

Both of these two dinosaurs are simple a waste of time, money and space.

Yet - they'll be going to the voters of the districts - giving it all "I'm one of you - I live in the district - I'm just and ordinary bloke/woman -salt of the Earth - etc" and all that crap.

And as soon as they re-elected they right back there - solidly voting with people like Ozouf, Le Sueur, Walker etc, etc.

Voting to put GST on food and domestic energy - the whole bit.

Let the voters of 3/4 be the asteroid which marks the end of this dinosaurs.
