Yes we do but there are times when we must make a judgement on what is best for the long term prospects of the Island.  Sometimes we have more information than disseminated to the public but for GST there was a great deal of information put out. 

Frankly it would have been a great deal easier to take the populist route but that would have been dishonest.  And, as it happened, my electorate knew that I would be voting for GST - it was in my manifesto.

but iv'e just learned my suppliers RS run by Sigma group have just stopped trading because of GST & delivery costs so I aint tooo happy about the effect GST is having on my small business, hench my apathey of voting for anyone.
