Two farmer Minister meet, James Reed and Jimmy Perchard
James in Blue - Jimmy in green

Deep inside the parish of St Ouen - Zzzzzzzzzzz

Hey James wake up, you are a Minister !
Huh,What are u talking about ? I am not even a Catholic !
No, not that kind. Remember many years ago about 500 people voted you in as Deputy for St Ouen’s
Yeah, vaguely
Well, there was another election recently and you were re-elected unopposed and now the government have voted you in as Minister for Education, Sport and Leisure. Even better news I am now a Minister as well, for Health !But I am not particularly well educated ?
Neither am I but that doesn’t seem to matter, We’re famous and important and that’s all that counts
But I wasn’t very good at sport either although I admit I have had lots of leisure time during the last 6 years and have become good at it.  Does this mean I get more than the miserable £40.000+ then?
Sorry, pay will be the same but if you fall ill I can help you out as long you help me with my education and speech writing etc. We are farmers remember and look after each other.
Do I go to the same place as when I was non- minister?
Yeah, Royal Square ,mostly Tuesdays and you are now part of the Council
I don’t think I need councilling
No not that kind, it is a group of 12 VIP’s who make very important decisions
They call it the Council of Ministers and the boss is Terry, The Chief
Is he an Red Indian ?  As a St Ouen’s redneck I am not very keen on foreigners
No, he is the The Chief Minister and replaces our dear friend Frank who has now “walked”Is it Terry Le Main ?
No, Terry Le Sueur, a very educated man
Why didn’t he get Education than ?
Because they preferred you !
Well, I am flattered. When do I start ?
Right away, Well take time out for the holidays and perhaps show your face mid January
Sounds great, Thanks Jimmy and you’re right, we farmers should stick together !

I've got a few vergees of vegetables, and my dad's middle name was James.  Obviously I concentrated an all the wrong criteria in the elections.

HaHa nice one moot what talent you have..

But what is it about ES&L is it not the one ministerial position that is crying out for strong leadership.. I remember senator ozouf telling me it was a very dark place that needed some light shining into it.. No jokes please..
