Is Social Security any good in Jersey?
« on: July 13, 2009, 09:10:18 AM »
Just to get away from the usual politicians for a little while, I note that Ian Gorst does not have a single discussion thread about him (like many others).  I don't know much about him, is this because everything he does is perfect?  Does anybody have any views on benefits or social security in general?  Its a nice building.

Gorst has been coming across as a very intelligent nice caring man from what i have heard from him so far. I think he probably understands social security better than his predecessor ever did.

He could get elected for the States and feel very much at home sitting in one of those new vehicles.

Would be a lot of fun especially when he goes off on  one of his wild ones!!

You have to see the funny side of that surely Sparty?

I know two people over yer that are unnemployed through their own faults. One of them lives in sheltered accomodation yet works as much as he can be arsed but will not sponge of the tax payer whereas the other has a good flat, wont work without a hipflask and takes every penny he can get. Social security in Jersey must be good of not great!

Did so, he said he'd got a job in the administration of the health service!
