I agree with you in some respects, but he does step down in the Autumn and I think he is too 'proud' to make an early exit.  Even though most people would be pleased as punch to see it!

I reckon Walker would go for a vote of no confidence.  He only has to rely on the brain washed people that voted him in as Chief in the first place.

I have extended the voting time on this poll.  Even though I think the voting is pretty conclusive up to now.

Just a bit if hearsay but overheard a conversation the other day which intimated that Walker's son was on the board of directors of the company that designed the flying banana logo! True or false?

Walker out...but who is going to step into his shoes? surely not Syvret, what about Bailhache? LOL... if the position of Minister is someone who speaks for Jersey then Walker is not our man, but, nor is Syvret, his too outspoken, but I mean that in a good way, our next  minister needs to be articulate, intelligent and respected by the people, Walker has none of those attributes, the worrying thing is the boys in the house voted him in, WHY! cause it was either him or Stuart, FW is a controller and a rich one at that.

I think the one reason he was voted in is because of his wealth, money talks and gives you power in this Island :(

The whole way this Island is run needs shaking up.

I know that he probably did get votes through recommendations of friends of friends because I remember receiving a few e-mails from working in finance.

If he did ever stand again, and this goes for his lieutenants, I doubt the same people will be sending such e-mails again, or, at least if they tried, it would not go down very well.

Got this e mail from one of the anti Walker groups on facebook that I am a member of. Great to see somebody is actively trying to make a difference.

For those who would be interested, there is going to be a public meeting in April about forming a new group with the aim of bringing peolple together, regardless of there political beliefs, to discuss ways of bringing reform to our current political sysytem and amending current government policies that the people of Jersey feel need to be changed or updated.
For people who maybe concerned, I can confirm that this will be not be an event staged by the JDA and is open to anyone.
Please forward this message to anyone who you believe may be interested in being a part of this group.
I believe if we,as an island, work together we can make a difference at this years elections.
If you would like futher details please contact me on thejerseywanderers@hotmail.co.uk

That happened where I work, only a few weeks prior to the e-mail being circulated I saw the chairman of the company coming out of a local restaurant with the (then) future Chief Minister.

VOTE OF CENSURE

The Chief Minister will not be censured.

Deputy Geoff Southern claimed Senator Frank Walker misled the house during the debate on the Waterfront.

But the majority of States Members didn't agreed with him.

There were two votes in favour - but forty-seven against.

Funny how our Poll straight after the Paxman interview said another story.

VOTE OF CENSURE

Funny how our Poll straight after the Paxman interview said another story.

Never, EVER take for granted...

Jerseyman.
Guernseyman.
Ridunian (Alderney).
Sarkee (Barclayee!)

Enough said - Haro, Haro, Haro....!
