BBC Hardtalk interview with Chinese Labour Activist Han DongFang
« on: November 25, 2009, 02:43:54 PM »
Anyone who wishes to watch an interview where the interviewee has the 'Voice of Reason' must surely take time out and watch this interview in full.  This man went to prison for two years and was tortured - go listen to what he has to say, especially when asked if he would do it all again and also if he would recommend what he has done to any of his children.  Also listen to the views he has on whether some of his colleagues were loyal to him or his cause or not.

An excellent interview by Stephen Sackur but I can't imagine why they did not put the interviewees name on the website as it was clearly visible when the interview was conducted early this morning on the actual Hardtalk programme.

You will have to go to iplayer to get the full interview.

for those interested in viewing the introductory trailer video  just press the cursor on the wording: Has China empowered its people?

"Life gives to all the choice. You can satisfy yourself with mediocrity if you wish. You can be common, ordinary, dull, colorless, or you can channel your life so that it will be clean, vibrant, progressive, useful, colorful, rich". Spencer W.
