1.1.13 - Deputy A.D. Lewis of St. John:...I do firmly believe, however, that the Jersey electorate should not be underestimated and it would frankly be insulting to their intelligence to suggest that they can simply be won over by a clever high profile advertising campaign. The public are cleverer than that, they can see through it..."
Andrew Lewis set up and ran the Image Group, a public relations and marketing company. If he really believes that people cannot be won over by a clever, high profile advertising campaign then why was he in this line of work???
(Also, as he owns a marketing company, does this not give him an unfair advantage over other candidates in November whose electoral expenditure will be capped?).
