As Assistant Minister with special responsibility for culture one has to ask "What she has done in the three years she has been in post?"

I can honestly say that only a small number of the fifty three objectives listed within the cultural startegy have been delived during her period in office. I think this is high grade political negligence.

What do other people think?

Does not having slept (in the biblical sense) with the Former Minister for Health and Social Services qualify as a cultural act? ::)

As my parish deputy she has always answered any questions I've had quickly and fairly and I'll be voting for her again.

Thanks Durendal. Sounds like it's all over now though right?

I ask not because I'm bovverd. I'm sure they would make a lovely couple. It's just that it's helpful to know where strategic alliances may or may not have been forged when one comes to reviewing past voting records.

Why a little research might even show up some strange contradictions and its not inconceivable that laws & policies have been passed by the slenderest of majorities on the basis of these 'alliances'. Hell one could even imagaine that peoples lives have been changed as a result.

I've got no beef. Just a desire to see clearly where the fault lines are in the chamber.

I'm pretty sure The Rag outed them as being in a relationship, a couple of years ago, didn't it? Not sure if it's still on....if it ever was on, that is! I'm sure SSS will tell us.

I concur with Razzard, btw. People become couples at work every day. Just best to be straight up about it.

I agree with you there PDT however the inference on relationships and straight are frighteningly freudian dont you think? You don't have a problemo do you?
