Well done, Clareese/Razaard whoever you are. 5 pages later regardless of what is said, you are repeating your same old mantra, squarking from the sidelines and seeped in negativity. As someone who obviously holds themselves up as able to do so much better with the resources available, we can only speculate as to why you don't.

i don't have that much time to contribute to sites such as this, but you have just made it clear what a complete waste of time it really is.

And for your information, i was offered a place back at ESC, but i chose not to take it.

Happy Christmas.

Welcome again, Carolyn, It was probably Tetras who asked, who is she ? that offended you. I am sure you have heard worse.

May I ask if you have chosen not to be on ES&C are you still on Heritage ? Thanks

You have to bear in mind that most people who read this forum don't post here at all.  You can't gauge the thoughts and views of all readers, just by comments made by one or two members.

. You said once you were 'going to sort culture out'. You didn't. In my opinion you left it in a worse state then when you first got involved and now even more cuts are coming. Taxi.

So given the recent scandilous and salacious revelations are we in any better position to properly assess whether Deputy Labey has done anything for the islands culture? ::)

Pimp the States Chamber.

Who kept quiet, even joined in when her boyfriend was busy slagging off and cyber bulling decent public servants?
Who was silent even joined in when he belittled, vilified and regularly insulted and hurt decent independent uk arbitrators like Williamson, Gradwell and Chapman?
Who kept quiet, even joined inwhen he regularly denigrated, abused and falsely accused his fellow politicians like Frank Walker, Jim Perchard, Sean Power, Dan Murphy and Terry Le Main?
Who stood by, slept with, supported and encouraged Syvret when he was dishing out all his rancid filth?
A duplicitous woman did.  Just like Stu says’s

If you have two people in a relationship both in politics, if they agree, that's easy - they can get married like Robin Rumboll and Cynthia Horne, but if they disagree (as they may have done on some matters), then you can

1) slog it out and row at home, especially if disagreements become public
2) make a deliberate decision that neither criticises the other publicly, and avoid friction, and just concentrated on shared areas.
3) discuss and sort out your differences like mature adults so you can present a united front

Of these, (1) is not really at option - who'd stay together with endless rows on public criticism of each other's politics, and (2) looks very good, but can lead to a build up of concealed personal friction, which may erupt like a volcano at some point.

It seems clear that the reason Deputy Labey kept silence was more (2) than (3). But what does she do now?

1) publicly and distressingly resort to acrymonious verbal fisticuffs with Mr Syvret
2) maintain a  dignified silence and ignore any emails from him

I think (2) is the likely option, especially with the looks she may get from some States members. So don't expect any reaction from her part.

Of course, she probably needed an escape valve, to tell someone what she thought, and we all know what happened there!

In Mr Syvrets case he did as he was told and voted accordingly.
