Terry Le Suer,s comment that raising taxes for, 1(1)K,s would be, "Immoral", is bloody astonishing.

The fact that we have a ,"1(1)K category for housing rights is totally, "Immoral".

I must agree with you there.  Also do you know that there is a 1(1)K living in the island who was given preferential treatment when he lost his wealth on arriving in the island initially - through no fault of his own admittedly.

Such cases are dealt with on a case by case personal level.

You just don't know what is really going on sometimes - do you!

I have never understood the reasoning behind the 1.1.(k) policy. 

It just seems illogical to me that people in this category are entitled to all the States services available, and yet they pay proportionately less tax than dustmen and street sweepers.
